Strait Times Reflection 6!

Q1.What is illegal logging ?
A1.Illegal logging is the harvest, transportation, purchase or sale of timber or wood products which is against the law. Illegal logging may be found in other countries probably because of money or food. Illegal logging may lead to deforestation which help to the increase in global warming. If you are unable to follow these laws or are caught doing it, you may be fined or jailed.
Q2.What can you do to stop the Sumatran tiger from extinction
I will report if i see poacher trying to kill sumatran tiger.I would play my part by not being an illegal logger, poaching as this would destroy the environment and homes of animals especially those who are facing extinction like the sumatran tigers. The government should deploy police to stop poachers from entering a place where animals are at risks. I will try to persuade others to protect the environment as it is not just important to the animals but also to us. If we continue not to save the environments, i would say many animals would face the threat of extinction and putting ourselves in danger as some animals play a part in our lives.
